Threatening skies all around this part of North Essex, a few spots of rain starting to fall. No thunder or lightening though.

on arome 06z and 12z it does show some storms near southampton so hopefuuly get something tonight

dont know what the MO is on but it says im going to have a 2 hour thunderstorm for 2 hours but on radar there is very little at the mo

!!!! Got a Storm a'comin!!!!! thought we weren't supposed to get anything today  got a small shelf/wall/roll/whatever cloud heading in!

It has been going on for at least 20 minutes. Came in from Berkampsted way. Getting at least a flash a minute. Nothing on either lightning detectors and they're working because they're picking up the French ones.
