WOW! The London Storm mass is as wide as the M25 Ringroad's diameter!

Looks like the whole Surrey system is drifting west along with the unstable weather. Unless something comes out of France, I fear this will be it after it has gone.

The MO had the low centre further south, and another developing in Kent but I think that's not turned out.

Oh...wait.  Looking at the radar it does look like another low is forming to the east.  Amiens for the south, Lille for the east, and the Thames Estuary for the north.  Met Office may have it right after all.

Calling it a bust here.

No storms, just a bit of heavy rain, which has since subsided.

This is what you got to love about the weather. Not a single drop of rain here but half a mile up the road play was stopped at the cricket and my sister In law was mopping sideways rain out of the conservatory

Update, the lighting hit the gate to our site 20 meters from where I was standing. That was a close one.

Gate now won't open, hoping I'm not stuck here tonight lol

Update no 2, cell has passed and our site manager is currently trying to prize the gate open with a crowbar. Will see if I can grab a pic of the damage on my way out at 5. That's if I can get out lol

Can’t afford the train travel through London, and any other route would take too long. booger it. I gotta learn to drive or make friends with a fellow stormie with a car willing to share petrol costs

Maybe when I learn to drive! Lol

Storms exploding to my West o_O  heading towards Wrexham/North Wales!  Can't visibly see anything due to the hazy stratus muck that's blown over us.

Refreshing outflow blowing in from then west from the (now) London cells.

New storms just to my SE coming into Basingstoke. Basically déjà vu of this time yesterday except it's fully overcast so less pretty to look at! Constant thunder though.

Looks like this London storm is going to miss me here in the East.  Frustrating to have now had storms North, South and West of me in the last couple of days but nothing over us.  We've had about 30 seconds of rain.

Same here, yesterdays was 4 miles West of me, and these are looking like being 4 miles South of me lol

Looks like the London cells have caused chaos on the Southern section of the M25

Something developing between Godalming and Haselmere. This is it. THIS IS THE ONE.

You'll like these, they're very loud and rumbly so far.

Cell started developing over me not long ago has grown to the west. Still looks dark to the NE although I think this ones going to be too far north.
