They're cooking them for you which makes a change from your region doing it for us to your north

hmmm I'm not too sure - main storm motion appears to be straight west. Might get a moderate shower at some point but I genuinely can't see blandover getting anything more than that today.

Hazy nothingness here in LB...funny that purple oblong of warning level 2 thing is basically marking an area of no showers...and all the action is around the outside

Stuck at work, but had a nice little storm earlier!! The smell of fresh rain was lovely too.

Got my eye on developments now over near Ipswich, plus there’s monster developments happening now over Belgium and Holland, which could bring those storms into Norfolk later on in the night. Here’s hoping.

Just musing here (boredom has kicked in now!)

The track of all the stuff on the S. Coast seems to be backing WSW. Maybe Torbay will get something in the next couple of hours unless it all dies out.

Those storms in Kent.....they appear to be moving WNW to me. Are they likely to gain intensity over London because of the urban heat island effect, or not?

Yes seems very slow moving. Skies are darker in that direction but owing to the general clag, impossible to make out any structure whatsoever.

This is all I got as it started kicking off.P1040871.thumb.JPG.fad27a86019004115a360fadeb00f0bf.JPGP1040870.thumb.JPG.83e04bcc27c27da88cc0c580960d8e4b.JPGP1040869.thumb.JPG.9141b528fd42a986f1a6cc7c2c763c1a.JPGP1040873.thumb.JPG.01d44d429c052114d0e053d5bcae37b4.JPGP1040872.thumb.JPG.4e38711cfcb5c9fd6d66eb1872a8d89d.JPG Anyone know why on the lightning maps the circles stop growing as soon as they've started?

It does make me laugh and I know I am like a stuck record but look at that radar over the whole of the Uk and spot the pathetic cell in the cone.

This place you would not want to move here unless your a sun and heat lover.

You can see anything pushing north/through towards Andover weakens and fizzles. Everything passing through to the south.

Guess I need something to fire around Guildford to have a chance of anything.

Yawn.

As expected shield killed what was a decent looking updraught but keep em peeled in Chelmsford as could go mental over you guys not even a measly drop from it.

Pretty certain gunna, get to 386 days now and edging closer to the magical 400.

Well done to you guys that have left just the 2 standing although the TOD could fall early hours if the modelled Storms come in early hours.

can we create a shield for the south east if we dont get any storms here today please
