Is that inflow on the right? Amazing shot!

Thanks, yes I think so, you can see the different layers of air quality at the  surface being drawn up into the leading edge!

As expected shield killed what was a decent looking updraught but keep em peeled in Chelmsford as could go mental over you guys not even a measly drop from it.

Pretty certain gunna, get to 386 days now and edging closer to the magical 400.

Well done to you guys that have left just the 2 standing although the TOD could fall early hours if the modelled Storms come in early hours.

Can hear constant thunder now although it’s very faint. People are getting a real treat right now.

BLOODY HELL!!!! Anyone looking at lightningmaps?! Look at East Grinstead - Tunbridge Wells area, just exploded on there, and on NW radar there's barely anything for that area, just some blue and green! Could be a biggen!

Thunder in Maidstone/Sevenoaks apparently. Annoyingly they have a strong E-W motion now so won’t be coming this way lol

Here in Farnborough, Hampshire - absolutely nothing so far this summer. Zero storms, they all run up the west of London via the M25 or just south of us running through Alton to Basingstoke. Seems like it's happening again today - nothing for us.

Literally 10 minutes! The storm heading for Redhill (second round) is electrifying right now. Head a couple of faint rumbles from it.

Mostly dull and cloudy, chilly N'ly wind.

Decided to have a mad indoor cleaning session to warm up a bit, much floor washing and window cleaning as it's not sunny.  my neighbour over the road has just mown his junior dustbowl.

Any chance of rain before, say, November?

Thunder slowly becoming louder, it’s all IC lightning, quite surprising given the low based. Stood in baking sunshine watching storm slowly creep westwards.

I haven't seen a single strike out of ours yet either!

Are these storms meant to hit the coasts or is most of it going to be in land?

All the action is looking worryingly far south - I hope things begin to fire deeper into North Hampshire.

I can hear the rain and thunder constant. But its still sat over Eastleigh and growing. So no real movement yet!

Yes seems very slow moving. Skies are darker in that direction but owing to the general clag, impossible to make out any structure whatsoever.

The cells around Cullompton S Devon and Winchester look tasty! Some heavy precipitation there. Exploded in Kent now. Think those cells are going moving WNWards so will be to the SW of S Bucks. Bugger!

Couple of loud rumbles and some heavy rain over me. Nothing too exciting.

And, it's just collapsed right over me lol.

That second finger of storms from France is about to come ashore.  If it does the same as the last one, anyone in Rye is about to be in for some 'Fun' times.

Storms around me always seem track the same way. NW through West London, into Buckinghamshire and away. Wonder if its the topography or something.
