Yes was looking good for a minute but hasn't kicked on, drifting north towards Burnham and South Woodham, fingers crossed things pick up around a line from Calais to Dover through to Canterbury!

The new Lincolnshire shield is keeping this thing away. Was heading NW until it got here

Someone must have set up a barrier between Boston, Sleaford and Newark because as soon as this got to where the red line is it suddenly started to curve away west. No chance for me in Scunthorpe at the top of this shot then

What  dont you live by the sea?.   you have a beautiful location all year round   i  have to look at factories  and upturned shopping trolleys     nah  stay there.

Gornal offers some incredible views alongside those shopping trolleys though, you also get that incredible chippy off the roundabout

Non-stop thunder from the storm over Redhill, and building out everywhere!  Woo!

Just watched an Army Chinook flying very close to events. Good luck, lads.

No lightning visible, but the thunder is from the east and high up above us.

Think I just heard a distant rumble to my South (as I predicted earlier if that’s the case)

Thunder slowly becoming louder, it’s all IC lightning, quite surprising given the low based. Stood in baking sunshine watching storm slowly creep westwards.

Lol  Trying to think what roundabout?  mind you there is only one  on the fiveways    yes there are nice views  because of the altitude of some areas   maybe im putting it down slightly   certainly better than some parts of Dudley.   No  seaside though

You're talking absolute nonsense or you're trying your best to wind other members up?! It's not working, so I would give up if I were you..

The Redhill storm continues to rumble incessantly, but the lightning must be elevated. It's all upstairs at the moment.

However, I decided watching from our metal pergola frame might be inadvisable...

Hmm - it's moving away north now.

aaaaaaaaa we have no storms ;-;

I believe that the feature developing over Calais now is what AROME was predicting could result in much more widespread storms later this afternoon and evening. That’s where I’d be looking and hoping that storms fire as it moves nearer the Uk.
