Ooooo the stuff still in France looks really strong by the way

The upper winds turn very much ese over the channel so in theory, those french storms should head nw ......and not affect se England .......

Can hear reasonably regular distant thunder in the channel.

Some nice cloud to sea forks every 2 or three minutes.

So a 3/10 for this so far, certainly better than nothing.

Lots of surface flooding across Shropshire

By far the longest storm i have been in, tops some of the Austrian ones over the last few summers...

The eastern part of the MCS could easily swing round into the SE I think

Wouldn’t Due NW take them into Sussex? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part haha. Even a second distant show would be nice

An utterly incredible evening here in Hereford. The best storm(s) I’ve ever witnessed.

A lot of people saying this along the welsh boarder today I reckon! And you have the stuff from Tewksbury area that might hit you in a bit too!

Some cells just developed near me in Taunton, we had a brief shower and it didn't equate to much. The cells seem to be intensifying a bit though.

Just an occasional rumble now, but anything seems possible at anytime at the moment. Maybe a series of pop-up storms in random places in the West & South West Midlands & Wales throughout the night.
