So is this MCS better than yesterday or Mondays or Sundays or Saturdays or the 7 in June asking for a friend

This thing is flashing more than the ones that came over last night here, constant nonstop, bearly has time to go dark before the next flash type, aka bonkers!!!!!

Those who have got eyes on the channel storm, hows the lightning comparing to what’s being shown on Lightningmaps?

I’m debating whether to jump into the car and head south or not so any nudges would be helpful!

I have never experienced a storm like that...speechless! I would be grateful if someone could confirm if thats it for mid Wales tonight? My house can't take much more ☹

Just a baby cell tracking to my north east ,but wow what a show ,its now heading to Cardiff, we had no rain but lightning intense, nice cooler breeze arrived , the stuff in the channel seems to have stalled any thoughts ,cheers.

It has lost a lot of intensity since I last looked at the radar - pinks and reds slowly turning to orange. The models did call it, so i'm not hugely disappointed.

Two bolts in the same spot within seconds wow wow. Is it quieter your end of the prom? There’s a party here and it’s annoying,  lolL, although the cafe is helpful

Crazy storm here, around half hour ago, torrential rain, strong gusts and crazy CG lightning with massive booms, will post any decent captures if i captured any, as i got quite excited

Yeah, Chris Alder called it hours ago. It'll keep weakening and thinning out now but there's always the chance of more separate cells forming off its northern flank

I just sat there for 15 minutes watching the constant lightning that happened in weston. I live in taunton, so nothing hit me. It's amazing to see thunder so bright and so quickly! Reminds me of that lightning show in 2018.
