Lol if you run the radar loop of the Winchester storm it literally collapses as it reaches Andover. You couldn’t make it up.

Right that’s me done. Enjoy those up north. All eyes on tomorrow. Last chance.

Absolute gunshot thunder blasts here now. Maybe the loudest I've ever heard. They're like explosions some of them.

Haven't seen a storm like this on the radar in the UK in ages, imagine the sights people would be getting if it was dark

Seeing Cloud flashing (+thunder grumbles), and the occasional bit of a bolt sticking out, from the storms from my South all the way to my West, also even though the clouds overhead are very VERY slowly inching there way towards the storm, the tops are leaning backwards quite steeply now, can also faintly see a thicker low band of cloud (shelf?) infront of a dark mass heading towards me from the SE (nothing on the radar showing for this though)

Wow! The rain is biblical. The wind was so strong at one point I feared for the fences! Lightning is constant. No real booming thunder but epic non the less!

Yes I'm right on the seafront looking S-SW - plenty of outflow winds but its just dissipating / breaking up - nothing I can see yet looks like rain. Thunder and lightning staying on the French side by the looks of it and will track east / north east. I imagine we'll just get convective rain.

Apparently mum said a few rumbles came out of it and a bit of rain and that was it. Meanwhile look at Wales ... Again!

Another chase, another storm, another motorway service station visited, another half price fast food meal, I'd call that a success of a evening

Noticed this popped up out of nowhere on the radar between 8:25 and 8:30. Can anyone see what is going on here?

May be an outflow boundary. They do shoe up on radar. Don’t always mean further development. Edit: Kind of weird how the feature hogs back about 20 miles on the next radar frame. Probably some weird radar anomaly
