it's intensified again straight for us in Andover i think!

I just got quite wet in the garden in a little downpour. Smells amazing out there now.

Western side of the MCS heading for Dorset decaying rapidly, eastern side maintaining strength a little longer as usual. Also the outflow boundary in the eastern side may spark a few isolated storms towards Kent and Sussex. Sat on Bournemouth pier feeling very deflated despite having a bottle of wine and two pornstar martinis in front of me....

And I thought a few hours up on West Cliff watching some lightning was on the cards

Oh well. Pub it is

Stunner. Reminds me of July 2017? (The year summer finished in July).

Some nice structure on that gust front. Hope for it making it over intact if it looks like that now!

The fact that the mcs is intensifying somewhat, in terms of new cells with ppn, over the channel is interesting. Saw some sferics on the leading edge as well

I believe everything that could happen to hinder my chances of thunder has happened, which is sad.

Great news for people in wales though, hope you enjoy the lightning and thunderstorms!
