You're all here because you want a storm... I'm here because I'm petrified and am waiting for all this to blow over

Same, terrified myself, can't wait for winter

Think I'm in the eye of a Hurricane right now, completely surrounded by a circular wall of Cloud with clear blue skies directly above.

It's done for us mate for today.

Things initiated painfully just to our west.

That stuff around Birmingham will go west.

Having some downdrafts from that storm NW of here right now.

However with the french MCS at the moment, as expected, all lightning activity is hugging the french coast

Yeah  , notice how the area where it's all dying out at is the edge of the area where it exploded from last night, guess the old atmospheric batteries needed a recharge

Every single time I look at the radar, everything near Wales just keeps on increasing in size!!

This is it. This is our shot. All of the activity on the french MCS is on its eastern side so will miss us completely in the unlikely event of it surviving the channel - this dinky little Winchester storm needs to develop into a mothership within the next 12 miles and the summer is saved!

Sunday looks to be our next point of interest. Bit far out to be certain yet though.
