looks like NNE

Hoping SIlverdale gets it lol, not sure if it's heading more to the coast or away from the coast, so might end up few miles to the East from me. Either way it'll explain the Amber warning

Just looks like heavy rain / hail and gusty winds - possibly gust front. Seen it before, prior to being storm starved.

indeed. Annoyingly the camera doesnt do it justice really.

It was really something we dont get often if at all around here and was more like a hurricane for about 15 minutes.

day 294.

I don't what these things called "storms" are even like anymore, i have many questions such as what is rain and what are these loud sounds im seeing from these videos? are they from a different country that im not aware of or are simply amazing cgi effects? I may never know as all I see outside is empty blue skies and yellow flooring everywhere I go.

Shame you haven't got an automated rain gauge, I would love to have seen the rain rate.

yeah my station broke a long time ago

The patio at one point had a good 2 inches of rain on it. It was a pool briefly lol.

Here is someone elses nearby. So should be a good representation.

Yes exciting. Memorable but what if your house was flooded and your car was washed away? Bring it on ?

These cells definitely have a Northerly feel to them, i understand how difficult Thunderstorms are to predict, but the MetO have been certain that they will be moving directly West
