This has been the theme for much of this summer. I think this route needs a name.

Quite interesting how much France is expanding! Maybe hope for the South later. Keeping fingers crossed!

It’s clouding over from the south here in Worthing I do not know if these storms are inbound, it’s very humid 27.1

Walked into town and back under that big storm.

Very underwhelming with some reasonable IC lightning but the roads are barely wet!

I’m going to be well stroppy here - I hope it does! I hope it leaves a great big cloud shield over central England. I’m not going to put up with warm rain only for the same areas further north to get battered for a fourth day in succession in some places....

No point putting a shield here as I already got one, endless heat and humidity this week and no storm

yes seems a little generalised,. we can only hope that something forms on the Southern Flank of what started in London

Otherwise we'll be wishing for storms over night ,. with at least a chance of some distant lightning

It seems to me like they have seen what developed over West London earlier, believe it's going to do what is in the image and hastily thrown out a general warning with a wide margin of error.

If that’s the case then why did they put it down here in Swansea

Now throwing it down here in Bewdley. Just rain, no hail, and winds nothing special. No thunder especially close atm.

Central Wales getting hammered at the moment. Numerous discreet storms with impressive cores. Looks gorgeous on radar, compared with the umpteenth consecutive day of this don’t get me wrong, I love a good heatwave, but it’s been 30-36C for 6 continuous days....you know we’ll (I’ll) be moaning it’s cloudy and meh by this time next week

The small ray of hope for Yorkshire is that the showers have formed east of the M1 and have at least some northerly movement even if a lot of westerly movement. The negative is that the steering flow backs increasingly easterly here and cool and stable air off the sea will probably kill most stuff east of the Peak District and Pennines.

That would be your wide margin of error! Unless they are seriously considering that the France stuff could make it over the channel, I doubt it.

A request please. Maybe its the humidity but...

The constant moaning and calls of 'bust' is getting quite tiresome now.

OK so you've missed out - possibly for this summer. Whilst the West & North has had all the 'fun'

Makes a change from most years, so take one for the team this time please.

I know its frustrating but some of you guys are like bleeding toddlers now.

Can I suggest either being pleased for the LARGE amount of members who are experiencing something rare, or alternatively sitting in your hands. You are NOT the centre of the universe.

And no, I've had nothing overhead or severe for a long long time. Just faraway nighttime views. Once. But I'm not whinging about it.

Thanks!
