Things are starting to get interesting on the stream! https://www.twitch.tv/calayte

Will more than likely keep this going all night, or until the risk drops.

Sky VERY dark to the east of gloucester. Annoyingly, it looks like it will skirt just north of me.

As suspected. I’ll wait and see what the next goofus run shows and then I can think about an early night.

Lol 90% of this forum is southerners moaning that they haven't had any storms this year, its hot and sunny, be grateful... 5% is people asking if their area is going to get anything, like we know lol... And the other 5% is actual storm discussion and reports lol... Oh well... After last night's epic storm it's hot and sunny up here, humid too.

The Northward edge of the Unstable Air has finally reach us here in SoT \o/

Can see a large tower with a nimbus mostly hidden behind the clouds to my South.  Currently sitting at 30C with Dewpoint at 22C, got my fingers, toes, legs and arms crossed for something juicy

No. This is a storms thread on a weather enthusiasts forum.

Easy to say suck it up when we haven’t had squat down here for months/years and you’ve literally just experienced an ‘epic’ storm.

So, from an unprecedented run of hot weather, the best we can hope for is a decaying band of rain!

Nothing in the coming days as the temperatures start to cool.

( a very imby post from the Sussex coast) am sure those further inland might get thunder showers in the days ahead)

Anyone in Wantage? Continuous thunder from that cell

Yes, one bolt practically right over my head, lightning a fraction of second earlier.  Holy schmoley, was it loud.  Electrics went off shortly after for about 15 minutes.  Constant rumbles for quite a while but I think the main cell has now moved north, and there is nothing big on the radar behind.

Interesting the MO Amber warning covering us was issued 17.40 - that’s not apple bracing time!!  Although, there could be something later in the night too.
