Just been placed under an amber thunderstorm warning lol.

We havent seen a drop of rain in these past few days so I highly doubt anything will produce today.

Proper MCS forming in northern France, perfectly positioned to advect into southern England as a decaying wet mess.

I'm thinking the exact same thing, moderate/heavy rain with the literal occasional rumble to remind us what could be!

Amber warning for here , I've got one side of the house being cooked by the late afternoon sun and the other with dark skies and rolling thunder .

Rain is very heavy now

As another poster said, looks a bit undulatus-ey or could be the underside of a weak gust front.

Two days back to back storms started in West London and then moved west, I really do hope it doesn't happen again tomorrow. I would rather see these at a distance and not develop almost overhead. Give someone else a turn to be under the birthing pool.

temps dropped five celcius after the storms cleared. fools nice and cool out now but thats only because its cooler than it was and not as humid.

Congrats to all of you who've seen some storms, these last few days... But, here in the ToD, we've nowt but a clear, blue-white sky that's presumably full of Saharan dust... Aaaarrghh!:oldlaugh:
