All dead down here and not even enough clear sky for meteor showers

Hi Lottie! Winds getting quite gusty here all of a sudden ( like a hot fan blowing) although the 'weather' seems a way off.

Makes me wonder if a few cells might start popping off closer to channel coasts soon?

Hey SJ!

It’s getting gustier here too - something slammed upstairs just now. At least a breeze gives the impression of something a bit cooler. Maybe...

Fingers crossed for a decent storm down our way!

The air outside is so ridiculously humid I just don’t understand why things are not exploding.

Cells don't seem electrically active.

I had one flash and deep rumble as I got back to caravan. Even the mothership needs new batteries.

Give it a hour or two more and nocturnal cooling will come into play, eroding some of the pesky cap that's been over the Midlands for the last 2 days. Hopefully then places further East than yesterday will be getting some cracking storms by 2am.

Goofus shows storms popping and pushing north through my locale tomorrow from mid afternoon. It must be drunk because we don’t do that here.

Im in the office tomorrow with no air conditioning and not allowed to wear shorts so it is going to be an ordeal - what I would give for a downpour to greet me at 4pm hometime.

Shame i face due East, might have to go outside on the drive to look south over Stone, should be there soon if it's close to Stafford.
