Going to gamble and try and get into that cell towards Wycombe. Currently just South of Northampton. Was gunning for that Coventry cell, but it seemed to be dying off. I looked left and could see the Wycombe cell exploding. Looked so much closer as if it was around MK! Must be some big heights on that thing

It’s in a more favourable area. I’m just NW of it and it’s still there but no further rumbles. You can out-drive the rain band at about 10mph

Can’t make anything out of it now really. Is it dying off?

It's done the old Supercell thing of splitting, so the right hand side is fizzling out whilst the left side is re-strengthening.  And it's the Right that I can see, anvil structure still looks amazing, though it is getting close to blotting out the sun here.

My view of the Wycombe storm from over here in Essex. Impressive considering it’s the other side of London!

Ah right. It just looks a cloudy mess to me now lol. I hope it keeps gunning for north east wales. The lightning last night was unreal!

Usually the opposite happens, the left mover normally fizzles, whilst the right hand storm becomes severe. Still learning I guess lol

Not bad being able to see a possible Supercell over mid-Wales from here in the Peak District, just been out looking Eastwards at towers rising and falling whilst meanwhile this was developing to my other side.

I could be imagining this, but it looks like the right most part of the anvil is growing as I watch it!

This is passing overhead atm, about as exciting as its gonna get here this evening

Have a feeling tomorrow won't be too much better either, I'm usually a glass half full kind of guy, but this year has finally started to take it's toll, I'd love to be proved wrong about our prospects though.

Nahhh... that's just America doing everything the wrong way round just to annoy us Brits, like driving and writing dates....

The showers in the radar image I posted above are to my SW are a bit too far from me to see at the moment. However I can see this to the  east.
