Wycombe cell is just to my west right now, heard several rumbles! No proper action as of yet. Think its going to pass me by

skies have cleared here now, bit more of an easterly breeze, hopefully now the skies will stay clear now the storm risk has gone from the forecasts, beer and meteor shower watching it is

I'm pretty certain I can see the curve of the anvil on the low horizon looking directly to my SW, it's just above the opaque haze, but it's quite distinctive. I'll try and get a shot of it, but it'll probably look like

Absolutely shafted again in the central midlands.

Last night’s ‘supercell’ turned into drizzle within half an hour and today, we have 2 cells one too far west and the other too far easy.

Shocking.

Here have a crappy shot of what I think is that massive anvil over Wales (skies are way to milky for anything remotely decent up here).  This is directly to my SW.  (Looks better on the smaller image that the full size one  Looks even better in real life  )
