Don’t know what the met office are thinking to be honest, we’ve had a lovely sunny day since 10am and we’re at 24 but tommorow they reckon we will get 27 under the cloud

Anyone got any pics of that one around the Midlands? Sat view seems to be showing it growing exactly like yesterday.

It is, in exactly the same place, however, most of the rain isnt reaching the ground yet.

Europe lit up like Chevy Chase's house at Xmas while the UK putting on a spectacular Grinch like performance with its storm capabilities, par for the course really.

Nothing here, temp been holding at 31C for over 30 mins, virtually clear skies, so not optimistic for anything locally this evening.

Indeed, it looked like the apocalypse, then 10mins later was bright and sunny.

Sat at Huntingdon observing towers attempting to punch through the cap, but not quite succeeding.

I may head west along the A14 I think.

Careful what you wish for: that french stuff may look nice but there’s every chance it could use up our stored energy and ‘waste’ it out over the channel like what happened last year

Gone on a little bit of a hopeful chase. Headed from Norwich to Peterborough, currently sat just to the west of RAF Wittering looking SSE over fields at some towers trying really hard to get going.

They keep recycling but always collapse, just bubbling away. Hopefully it'll eventually get going.
