There's seems to be a line of cells that's popping up stretching from Dartmoor, across the Channel through the Brecon Beacons up to the southern area of Mid Wales. Shortwave?

This was indicated within ConvectiveWeathers forecast and is my assumption of what happens on the latest AROME where the shortwave meets the area of convergence over CS England combined with temperatures that could overcome the cap.

I'm really concentrating on the build up in France - er....not. Daughter and wife have just brought an 8 week kitten home.  Can't concentrate on anything now!!

Think of me, watchers...

How insensitive. Couldn't they have waited until Friday?

In Cirencester here - can see the stuff trying to pop just east of me. Looks like the 'agitated cu' that you see in the states before the cap pops, some towers leaning too so some low level shear. Looks like its about to rocket!

The cells across N France do look quite MCS like it has to be said, and creeping slowly north Ish.

Worth keeping an eye on as it's producing lightning. Anyone think it will come anywhere near me?

Don't know if it's elevated. If so it might be worth keeping an eye on.

I'm in a bit of a quandary as I really want to crack open a bottle of beer but will want to drive to the coast to see it arrives (if it does)

Massive vertical towers going up well inland probably up in wilts - bit of a guess as it’s a visual obs.

There’s some good development over Salisbury Plain.
