I have a feeling this is going to be a South and east event from today onwards. Just feels like that way.

I'm even moderately excited that something will happen here, probably from 11pm onwards.

Towers going up now to my SSE can see from upstairs window. North Warkshire sort of area is where they are I guess.

Feels like we are losing the chance. Something needs to at least start to develop soon. Dew points are falling away and that all-Important CAP break is becoming more and more elusive with each passing minute

*points to france* thats our chance

As always, from my location 8 miles from the coast, I'll be looking to France for my action.
We tend not to get "home-grown" here; they always start just a few miles North and then head Northwards.

Has our time FINALLY come? I hope these runs stay like that, it'd make for a lot of excitement from the storm-starved south this time tomorrow, but the poor old SE would still be peeved.

Come on, you know better than that.......It'll either be over Cornwall or Kent in 48hrs time.....Seriously though at 2days out they come off 1 in every 20times. Bet if you looked at Arome or UKV from 2 or 3 days ago someone would probably be under an end of the world storm right now......:-)

I still reckon it's got a chance anywhere on the South & Eastern side as the evening and then night approaches. Look at yesterday, aside from the North Wales event and it wasn't until around 6-7pm before anything started and things bubbled up from nowhere. There wasn't as much energy around as today either?

Nothing of interest here in Derby but something seems to be brewing to the east.Perhaps something to watch.

Interesting forecast once again. Once this elevated stuff clears, temperatures should rocket. Possibly Cambridge area down to the Home Counties again to break the cap by mid-late afternoon. There’s also less of a breeze from the NE here, so that should also help.

Think it may have broken in the last Hour here in West Suffolk

Way too hot for me. I'll be down to Pevensey though this evening if a light show is in order.

An area roughly in the triangle of the M4/M5/M40 is really churning now. Should think it's only a matter of time before fun and games begin.

Towers are starting to appear in the far distance to the SE of here, around the Banbury area perhaps.

Currently 31.9°C
