Think that’s the East Grinstead cell direct south of me. Looks like it could become beefy

Mostly cloudy since 11am with hazy sunshine occasionally. Unfortunately have taken thermometer off side of kennel so no idea what the temp is, prob around 29 ish.

Handy hint - if you're too hot try pressure washing something..anything. Very refreshing when you get a blow back if a little mucky!

Very little happening which is a bit depressing.

Little bits in the Channel, maybe part of the Shortwave that's forecast to move into some areas tonight.

Not sure whats just happened but we've just had a few spots of rain from that rapidly decaying shower over Bournemouth and the temps just shot up.....possible mini heat burst?

Humidity is what's happened... humidity.....

But yeah, looking at the Wunderground stations around you, the stations 'infront' of the drizzly shower are showing about 40-45% humidity and 30C'ish', the stations behind are showing 60-65% humidity and 27C'ish'.  So even though the air temps gone down, the rise in humidity is making it 'feel' hotter.

It's not even 4pm! When we're storm chasing stateside on most days it's barely even started by 5.

Ain't it! Most of the models don't suggest any notable activity to start till at least 7-8pm.

Yeah, timing is key for storms. You've got to the heat and energy build under the cap for maximum potential.
