Could they spread as far as Porthmadog?

I imagine so, as they'll have some good lift off the hills and mountains.. so I imagine its possible as it moves in from Southern Snowdonia

9 severe warnings this summer for my area. 9 times we haven't even had a drop of rain. This is why I don't get hyped with forecast charts, models, trends etc... Because 110% of the time they get moved away from area, downgraded and eventually removed altogether, even the ones that are still active never come to fruition. That's why I don't take much notice of when people put models on here as ludicrous as 4 days ahead of the so called 'events'.

Lol 110%

Nice cell tracking into the channel just off Caen and Le Havre. Could possibly looks like a potential hit for Eastbourne.

Darn too far west, Hope I might see some Lightning in the channel

I think we would get some nice bright flashes and rich elevated thunder from that range!  Fingers crossed

May need them to develop a little further West to affect your area, but wouldn't rule it out as the forcing is showing its hand now. They will more likely develop in a similar line as they are now and drift N/NNW. Best thing to do is check the radar regularly lol.

A lot of talk about the CoS and ToD, but don't forget the Shield of Resistance down here. It has been fully engaged for 1171 days.

Add RSH: Rotherhithe Storm Hole

I’ve had one storm this year from that weird northerly in June but it was decaying rubbish caught one good CG lightning. The rest of storms have has either gone east or west happens very frequently.

ive not bad a proper storm since May 2018 what’s happened my inner London location which experiences some of hottest weather used to get decent storms every year, now there seems to be more chance of getting real snow.

North of Derby is what remains of the Eastern side of the earlier Warwick storm. Looks like it is starting to pop up again. Perhaps because of the hills.

Bit miffed as all the stuff seems to be going west of me again. Hoping another line forms further East or something so some more people can get in on the action as currently most of it is in the middle of nowhere.
