I have a decent view of the cells near St. Albans. They've grown from nothing in 30 mins and keeping growing. I think there's some good potential there.

Pretty much identical to my view up the road from you. They look like right beasts in the making. Countless times this year when this stuff has been within visible range, just never far enough south!

When you have 2000jkg of Cape this is perfectly normal growth with that much power in the atmosphere.

Capped here so the COS and ToD are safe to add another day to the tally. And looking South East from here it's flatter than a witches T**

Somewhere about 10-15 miles to the east of here must be getting an absolute monstering right now. The noise is just relentless.

Can see the anvil on a traffic camera on the M25 at Langleybury Fields.

Absolutely mental the speed of development once the cap goes.

These sorts of slow moving cells cause havoc in low-lying areas of Birmingham. Will be flooding in parts if this grows and maintains its intensity.

Seems to be growing aswell  on its southerly edge   could be interesting

Definitely. My current thinking is Birmingham, Walsall, Rugeley and Stafford are going to cop it. But you're right, could affact a larger area.
