Yeah, looking at the last 2 frames of the radar, things are picking up down in the southeast.

Look out guys, apparently there are repots of a giant snake on the continent, and it's heading this way

Just spent an hour sat on the beach at Pevensey and watched the lightning out in the Channel. Lovely red moon to go with the pink lightning. A few distant booms. Looks like it's fizzling now.

they are probably forming due to the heat island of london, they will probably fade

More likely associated with the 850mb Theta-E gradient pushing NE through the night, due to be over Wales by sunrise. We'll see if anything initiates further W as it encounters some minor PV filaments lifting up from the SW.

AROME is still showing explosive development around the Birmingham area tomorrow (or today as it's past midnight)

Currently 19.5C in rural south Bucks with humidity 79%.

This mist needs to do one  There will no doubt be some lovely mid-level instability and I want to see it! I know our slim chance is later on but still.
