Light showers before dark yesterday and another one around 0400 g.m.t but most of the night was dry with a good deal of cloud. Dry with short sunny intervals so far this morning.

Last nights thunderstorms moved away leaving clear spells overnight. Sunny spells this morning, high cloud increasing. At observation, mainly cloudy, bright, a little weak watery sunshine.

 

24-hour maximum 21.3c

24-hour minimum 10.8c

Minimum temperature on grass 8.5c

Maximum wind gust: (Midnight to Midnight) 19.8mph S

Rainfall total: 6.1mm 

 

Conditions at 09:00 GMT

 

6 Oktas Cirrostratus, Cumulus mediocris, congestus.

Visibility >10 miles

Temperature: 16.8c

Humidity 79.6%

Wind Direction W Force 3-4

Barometer 1008.4mb rising..

 

Yesterday.

 

Mainly cloudy and mild overnight with a couple of moderate showers. Variable cloud this morning, bright and brief sunny spells. A good deal of cloud through the morning, few bright spells. A short spell of heavy rain late morning. The afternoon mainly cloudy with the odd light shower. Feeling warm and humid. A thunderstorm occurred during the early evening with many loud claps of thunder, though only a few spots of rain at this location, a couple of miles further north though torrential rain and hail was reported.
