Never hear of that one. The worst I've seen is snow being forecast with temperatures near 10°C on the iOS weather app.

Yeah, I don't see anything even near 20C tommorow, it will be ridiculously high in the morning, maybe 17C. They also forecasted 35-36C for about six days straight this summer in London.

London did have a spell of 4 days above 35c in August though.

Don't believe it was four days of above 35c, maybe 34c. either way weatheronline is quite unreliable, they were forecasting 35C at the end of june when in reality I think it was just 31C.

London had 33.4c at the end of June, 37.8c at the end of July, then 36.4c, 33.4c, 33.8c, 35.5c, 35.7c, 35.4c between 7th-12th August.

I usually find them at least as accurate as the MO, better than BBC or the joke sites like Accuweather, TWC etc. Their London forecast does have human input in contrast to their forecasts for other cities.

Anyway, with 51.6 (44%) hours of sunshine, London just recorded it's cloudiest October on record. The 142.2mm (208%) of precipitation was the 4th wettest October, and the 10th wettest month of all.

We just hit 17.9C here this evening which is a record high November temperature for us in 41 years of records.

That's higher than any day in October aswell.

Walked down the road from the pub earlier. Love the mild wind blowing. Bring on mild wet and windy till about 31st March Then it is allowed to get up to about 19c at least. The least days we get with frost and ice the better.

Is it allowed to get below freezing during December, January and February?

No . The least number of days of frost the better.

I could do with some frost for the Brussel sprouts on my allotment.

No the low was 16.0C measured between 2100-0900, SJP in Central was a bit warmer 16.4C beating previous London’s 2014 record of 15,8°C. The U.K. experienced it’s warmest night on record evidently Southend never get below 17C a number of stations surpassed 2005.

Heathrow's previous November record high minima was 15.5c on 1st November 2014.

The record high for London seems rather poor considering though, Heathrow's is 18.5c. I would've thought something around 20-22c would be more likely considering October has seen almost 29c and December 16-17c.

So much root veg in the ground still; but the spuds have rotted due to the amount of rainfall we've had here unfortunately

Was going to pop this in the MO thread - but why bother for all it's FI ness?

Synoptics looking decidedly uneventful until at +312 GFS 00z

Should get the forum into somewhat of a froth

Incredible difference, we just miss single figure maximums in summer months and have already had quite a few single figure days.
