Here's hoping this weather doesn't last all the way until next March.

Another damp wet and windy winter will be depressing. Hopefully a large amount of clear cold days this autumn and winter, mixed with dry mild spells and a bit of rain.

High of 25.4C today, the 15th day this month to breach 25C.

The coldest day so far this month (and the only day not to reach 20C) is the 1st weirdly enough, but temperatures are set to tumble - 18C tomorrow, only 14C on Saturday.

Didn't think we'd ever get tempreatures that low given the recent warm spell. Hope it continues

Already down to 7C outside. Certainly making up for last weeks warm weather.

Peeing down and chilly outside but you wouldn't know it cos it's a balmy 20°C in here. Sat indoors in a t-shirt. Those de-humifiers work wonders at keeping a house warm during periods of damp chilly weather.

First cold feeling day of the Autumn season. Temperatures struggled to climb much through the morning, by midday sat at 9 degrees still. A gear change has occurred.

Of course that would feel warm and be rather fleeting in winter.

Absolutely vile day here too. 11c, cloudy, raining, gale force winds. More like late November than September. Truly rotten.

We have certainly gone from one extreme to the other. From above average temperatures to below average temperatures and hardly any (if at all) average temperatures. It was the same concept during the summer - it was either cool for the time of year or it was blazing hot; no in-between.

Felt like a cold winters day here. Ok so it wasn't that cold but compared to what we were used to it's certainly feels cold, especially in the breeze.

Just put the heating on.  I can't remember the last time I went ahead and put the heating on in September!

Loving this weather, so much more comfortable than recently, still shorts and a t shirt with a hoodie but certainly not cold by any means. Windows open mean a lovely fresh breeze in the house as well!

How many times do we need to hear the same thing from you? Lol

‘Windows are open, I’m still wearing shorts, lovely and fresh, so much more comfortable than recently’

Its almost like a checklist to be proud of.

Heres mine:

Heating on, windows closed after a few hours, fleece on, tracksuit bottoms on.

Shorts back in the wardrobe until next April or May.
