Thundery looking sky here but mainly sunny, some patchy big blobs earlier but now dry and muggy with a morning low 18.2c.

Getting warmer here with the sun starting to break through. I really think today could be considerably warmer than forecast by the Met Office etc

27.3C here currently (same as yesterday give or take) and clear blue sky. My son lives in central London and sent me a picture at 04.44 this morning and the temperature was 22C !

I expect that was the same one passing to the west in the last 10 minutes, slight to moderate rain and one fairly close flash/bang after some distand rumbles to S-SW and isolated flashes, 0.8 mm rain

If you put sky sports racing on at 4.30 you will see the lightning and rain live from Doncaster racecourse.

The morning cloud broke up and moved away by midday b.s.t producing no more than a few spots of rain. A sunny start and end to the afternoon with Cu building rapidly during mid afternoon and a thunderstorm moving north to the east of here between 1350 and 1430 g.m.t.

Dry, sunny and hot. Clouded over this evening and now feeling much fresher with a breeze developing. Maximum 27.7  minimum 18.6. Wind moderate SW.

Yesterday: dry, sunny, hot and humid. The hottest day here since last July. Maximum 32.1, minimum 18.0. Wind light SE.
