My finest piece to date?

Hasn’t made a jot of difference though, seemingly ?.

Here’s a reflection of the stable sky over Surrey as reflected in our kitchen table. Sorry I was so excited I didn’t have time to clear the stuff - didn’t want to miss the moment!

This was the late evening storm as it passed over Filey. It was nice enough as it come up from Bridlington, but as it approached the coast, a real nice feeder band developed into it and it really ramp

My view of the Bude cell   Edit:excuse the washing

Very impressive lightning display here in Scotland in the early hours. I am just a amateur photographer but I am pleased with what I managed to capture. Here is a selection of all the best ones I got.

according to radar and lightning maps something might have just popped south of Nottingham, finally kicking off? rather rapidly too!

Yes there have been several rumbles  of thunder in the last 5 to 10 minutes

Have just heard a gentle rumble of thunder just to the south of me.

That must’ve developed very fast, only light rain on radar

Radar coming to life south of Cambridge now heading north. Headed straight for me ? looking good for some early action! I better get my stuff ready for chasing fast!

This did happen a good 8 hours ago but only got round to uploading it now. I've put timestamps in the description for the good bits. Nice thunder in this one!

Absolutely oppressive here in Macclesfield now. Big heavy clouds bubbling up as they go over, feels like it might not be long before it cracks now.

Very basic doodle attached... let's see if any more showers form along this line.

Almost right above my house that.  Plenty of lovely convection going on around here but more towards the East overall.  Some great, classic caulis forming now but I still don't expect to be zapped today.  Here's hoping though.

Rather see pics of mundane looking clouds than off-topic nonsense!

Hottest day of the week here 30.2°C but it doesn’t look cap is going to be overcome in London, shame as it is oppressive and humid. Feels ripe. London will probably sow seeds for those further north again seen this happening much more frequently in recent years.

More showers a long the line I drew earlier, but also one a little further west that I've circled red

Is there scope for more than one round of storms for lucky spots?

Nothing here as yet and not looking likely, clouds have bubbled up a bit but they are still socially  distanced.

Seems like its all going to spark off to the North and East of me, Can see it really starting to kick off in the distance in that direction from my garden.
