You know it's been a dreadful year when the Isle of Man gets more intense storms than you in the SE.

Too hazy to get a pic of the towers to ESE of me. Should be on the radar as they're big enough.

Full on gunshot thunderstorm here in leicester together with lightning!!what a summer of thunderstorms its been for leicester!!by the far the best year  if not the the best in  many a year!!im amazed how quickly the storms developed right now!!

Cell gone up SW of Derby now if that develops and carries on doing so that should have my number on it.

I live in Cheshire and somehow still we haven't had a storm all summer, always 10 miles away in some direction, never a direct hit... Annoying

We might not have storms down here but at least we are allowed outside

The cell now to the east of me must be a mirage as it's still not showing on the radar.

Looking at the rain radar, it would appear the cold front is decaying and drying from the south. Any activity over France is all but gone.

Looks like a mega-bust for the SE.
