Well that was very intense. A good number of rumbles but no visible lightning as it was a very messy cell.

Lots of surface water flooding now.

This was the late evening storm as it passed over Filey. It was nice enough as it come up from Bridlington, but as it approached the coast, a real nice feeder band developed into it and it really ramp

My view of the Bude cell   Edit:excuse the washing

Very impressive lightning display here in Scotland in the early hours. I am just a amateur photographer but I am pleased with what I managed to capture. Here is a selection of all the best ones I got.

The Somerset cell seems to have back built to the Southern edge somewhat. Dorset might get a look in 👀

Looks like there's another line attempting to form just to the north.  Lighting showing on the radar from those too.

Just had the life scared out of me ( and the cat too) by a massive CG bolt, had to have been a positive one just by the shear noise!

Ah you too? I was waking up from a nap, saw it was dark and heard distant rumble, then all of a sudden bang!! Definitely agree on being a positive CG strike.

Went to Telford and enjoyed some torrential rain (Drains backing up) as well as seeing CG and CC lightning. Worth the trip. All moving east of here now and looks like that’s our lot.

Now that the frontal rainfalls gone the more interesting stuff is back to doing what it does best and avoiding me at all costs. Plenty passing by to the NW still.
