Just took these pictures to the west of Chesterfield. Photos do not do it justice. Stunning

I did indeed and I believe that was the strike that took the power out. Agree with you as well, the lightning looking north after the storm was incredible.

Yeah think it was the first one to take the power out, I missed recording it by a second but blimey imagine if that was at night

Would have been incredible. Looking south from Hykeham atm I can see the odd flash however nothing major on the radar???

I'm also seeing the odd flash, can only guess these are elevated from the storm we just had

The pictures I have just took looking over Chesterfield are stunning
