Cornwall's the breeding ground for them. They're modelled to be at their most potent in 2-3 hours from now as they pass through the Somerset/Wiltshire area up towards the M4 corridor. UKV has them sort of breaking apart as they get to me (NE Hampshire) around 7-8pm

I thought that this storm clump was supposed to be moving eastwards along the south.  As it's northern edge now appears to be moving north. It'll be reaching me soon if it carries on...

Still showers in our forecast, incl further storms possible - still hearing rumbles of thunder in the mid/far distance - loudest one though was the first one right over the city before a heavy/torr rain shower. Rain much lighter currently but still quite a humid feel to things: Temp 17, Dew 15. Temp had been 21 before the storm moved in.

Moving on, just chilling here in Dublin waiting for that nice build from the north Co.Cork area to head my way...hopefully.

The rain is here in South East Essex, need it to hurry up and move on.

 

Storms forecast for 9 - 12. Would love to stand at the front door with a beer and watch a storm roll through tonight. It's been so long since we had one here.

Yep, I am hoping for that too I am in Chelmsford... We have the rain, unusual to get a few hours rain followed by a storm isn't it?
