June lightning strikes with the majority of the UK covered.

Who is still left in the no storms club?  Hopefully not many.

Here is the video of the possibly small funnel.

Had importing problems from trying to import the clip on my phone to the computer so I had to screen record it

Here's the rotation!

That updraft looks lively! Nice capture, I like this just as much as thunder and lightning.

More rotation here! Very lucky to see this. Wasn't expecting anything today!

Love this too, I'd be stoked after seeing that. The clouds look gnarly, which is perfect

We have missed all the storms this year but this was a massive surprise with the convergence area sitting on top of us

Right at the sweet spot, not easy to do normally but fortune favoured you this time alright!

Me!

While some might do, I'm not counting the two instances mentioned in my signature as 'experiencing' a thunderstorm.

I'm still in there despite hearing a couple of rumbles and seeing distant lighting a few days ago but that really wasn't enough to get out of there.

Lets see what happens

That’s something I wasn’t expecting this morning.

I’ll have my eye out for developments then!

Upper level cold pool of air is forecast to move quite quickly across England today , probably leaving the east just after mid day. Looks like a small window of storm possibility 10am to 1pm for eastern counties.

There is a small risk of storms in a small window of time between 14:00 to 16:00 across the midlands and south east as a narrow band of mild upper air cooling traverses across low level convergence zone convection. Winds look light and instability is meager at the most but because storms will be slow moving there is a risk of localized flooding. Slight risk of very weak spouts and key area to watch is probably from somewhere like Cambridge through to Suffolk.

Focusing more for this afternoon here, could have more activity, doubt anything will turn thundery, likely to be similar to yesterday, where i had a few heavy showers, Majority forming quite late in the day. Maybe more today.

Can notice a few unlucky people just by looking at that, though those who didn't get a direct thunderstorm, pretty much everyone would have at least seen distant light shows.

An absolute bombardment for me. You managed to scrape some Kent clippers too, nice!

Not Very easy to see a distant light show during daylight hours - and there was a lot of IC - so a lot of people have seen nothing, despite how the map makes it look.

Hotting up again in a week or two but I really can’t see what the excitement is about today

People have gone mad

I had one short lived daytime storm, but 10 miles away they had had a lovely little cell that we could barely see
