And more pileus clouds along with it...

Pictures once again don't do the justice. Absolutely stunning.

Urgh, there's the huge cell to my West that is going nuts. And there is a decent cell to the East going nuts. And Bradford, as usual, is in between the two and it doesn't look like we'll get a direct hit from either of them. Am I going to have to make do with hearing the distant thunder of other peoples storms? Is there hope things could pick up this evening?

Monster just gone up in minutes near Brigg. Can't see it out my window due to lower level cumulus obscuring but has very heavy reflections already and should be a direct hit...

Edit: Barton - not showing sparks yet but can't be long before there are a few in Lincs now.

Biggest bust since El Gordo for the SE?

Why? No real storms expected in the SE as has been the case.

Hope so Mate, I cannot believe how humid it is

Yeah, still about 80 out there, and with very high dew-points making it feel really claggy.

I'm in Bingley to to area west of the Leeds storm. Really eerie in that storms are developing all around me with constant rumbles to my west, south and east.

No rain here atm but blackened skys all around.

Brilliant is this even though nothing intense yet.

Goodluck all

Filming a timelapse of the storm on two separate cameras. Can't wait to watch it back!
