Nice bright flash followed by another lovely deep rumble then...

I’ll admit it’s been so long since I last had a properly overhead storm that it took me a few seconds to realise what was going on when I woke up

I'm saying farewell to the storm noticed a low base and when it was approaching it was the scariest cloud i have ever seen with multicoloured lightning to cap it off as well

Well that was a pathetic end to the heatwave. 

Nothing. Not even a flash, a rumble, not even any proper rain. 

2020 sucks

What a storm! Multiple overhead strikes with plenty of thunder. Massive downpour. Don't normally get that here with storms mind you!

I’m down in Benfleet.

It’s slowed a lot here too, I think the main core of the storm is moving up the sea to the East of Southend

Big Old Storm just out to my east over Herne Bay way running up the coast but still getting the thunder from it

No storms or rain here in Somerset wilts border. 

still very humid so I guess still a chance through the day . 

 

Really happy for those who did get storms and for those that normally miss them but didn't miss this time I'm really happy for . 

 

Cant beat a good storm for Adrenalin rush .
