You climb up? Wow, or is there a good place to park

Ha, no it’s just a little road that weaves up near the summit. I few good spots up here actually. Been here a few times now and today the A3 takes me home AND follows the track of any would-be storms

Still not giving up my hopes just yet...

May someone tell me the chance of ramsgate getting a storm, thank you

In my opinion extremely low , there is not much to your south , that band of rain doesn't look like its heading your way and unless more develop during the night near or directly overhead which cannot be completely ruled out I wouldn't have a high expectation

It's all looking a bit underwhelming at the moment but things can change quickly

cells can fire up within ten minutes as we saw earlier so hang in there peeps

i would like a bite at what central/southern France are having though.

Seems to be an existing one backbuilding

Unfortunately the cell near Cherbourg appears to be merging with the mass of rain and has weakened

It could do a number of things from there. It could continue north as a storm on it's own, it could keep backbuilding and end up over intensifying over the same place like it's just done or it could just die out.

It might turn around and head towards Spain

And so the heat goes out with a whimper in Hampshire as is often the case since 2007. How predictably boring.

Not as optimistic as earlier for here, unless the showers West of the channel islands move up towards us and develop further into storms. Anything that is approaching the W Country seems to keep fading away. A recurring theme in recent years is of activity kicking off in the morning to the N/NE, so my bet is on that happening :oldlaugh:
