Phone app back in favour of storms around 07:00 to 08:00 whereas earlier it has backed away entirely...uncertainty indeed

Saw a couple of CGs on this cam over last 10 mins - over to the left.

Looking at the radar the last half hour, the stuff from France seems to have expanded a lot to the west...

Wasn’t discounting it, but it’s definitely looking to be a tad further East and ahead of schedule so far by the looks of things. It’s beginning to remind me of July 17th 2014.

For an area that we were assured last week never gets any storms, I seem to have spent an awful lot of evenings in the past few years watching the Bournemouth webcams!

Yes another cell seems to be going up on the eastern flank.

Suspect this will be one of those nights where some will get a decent show and others will get some moderate-heavy rain and thats it. Classic potluck with embedded convection within a larger region of rain.
