Endless blue skies here in Reigate. Hot, too.  Looking at France in the hope something might turn up.

Is there something up with this forum? Clicked on a page and ended up with "Loading" and that was it. Nothing moved.

Still hope for Stoke on Trent on that one

I see a little silhouette of a storm (apologies, currently listening to Queen and couldn't resist it's on the radar south of Aberystwyth)

interesting sat24 loop of that storm departing north cornwall.....large spill-off of cloud to the north crossing western wales....indicative of large amount of shear above 750-500 hpa boundary?

Please, is the Met Office's website slow at the moment? Trying to work out if my connection has gone wonky.

Just texted my dad who lives in Bude and he said nothing there, blue skies still!

Was more over Hartland point and North.

Useful to know thank you. I use Plusnet who are normally very fast but there must be a problem in the provider. I'm getting all sorts of hitches and drop-outs.  Thanks!

Looks like I might need a trip west to the Welsh Border (15 or so miles) - With the rules in place I cant cross it which would be annoying if there is something worth chasing...

Is Wrexham in with a good shout? I keep getting differing reports. The heat is pretty intense here today!

Seems to me as all this fun may be off the cards here in NW London unless I am mistaken?
