Best I can offer is my phone on a tripod by the window if anything happens here tomorrow. Might be able to go to the clifftop to watch anything in the channel if it's not too late.

I'll be heading out no matter what, I would kick myself if it ended up being the only storm of the year and I didn't bother to get out and take some photos.

Arpege is way way west for friday and also has 30 31 degrees widely across england!!wow

Ugh that Arpege run is a bit yucky. Not much west to east movement. That would be preferable to not come off

The cold front comes in from the Atlantic with more general rain and fresher air

It does show a few (what looks to be light) showers in S England but that's it...

Well then yeah you’re right that is very laughable. As opposed to what UKV thinks with pretty much an MCS moving west to east across southern England . Think it’s time for me to have a break from looking at the charts again for now and just see what happens. Making me restless lol

UKV update. Not quite as consistent as the previous runs were.

Way past caring about the models at this stage, just going to watch the sat imagery and hope for the best.

So the thing that killed the last thundery outbreak was the amount of cloud here despite the hook of thunderstorms over West Dartmoor. No problem of that by the looks of today.

Horrendously warm last night Mount Batten is now at its lowest level temp wise a sticky 17c!
