Some light snow here, but decent size flakes, easily settling though

We might just miss out on that heavier blob here.

It's moving SW as it sinks south, the back end of that blob might have slipped a tad too far SW as it sinks south over us, putting us in the bit in the middle that has already weakened.

It's certainly tight. (And I am being quite specific for my location)

Agree, does look as though the main band is just missing us to the West, although can’t complain!

Great afternoon here, still coming now but slightly more sleety, not too bothered because I've had my fun, even been sledging for old times sake❄️

Its definitely melting- its gone from the bins and similar objects- although a few small flakes are still drifting down. Dewpoints are definitely low enough and this is 95m asl so higher than some places that have had no melting. What is going wrong now?

Yep, as I thought, the heavy blob is sliding away to our west.

Got a light flurry going on here anyway.

I'm also watching the blob over Nottingham, but think the whole lot might continue to break up so hard to say.

But yeah...really can't complain!

First shower has left a dusting. If we can get the Derby shower that wouldn't be too bad for the day.

Ok, shut me up if needed but...

The showers are more aligning east to west...

...Sooooo...

they're coming at us from more from towards Lincolnshire way...

...where there are no hills...

...see where I'm going with this?

Wishful thinking?

Probably.

One eye on the radar and watching that blob currently over Derby and the other on the Wolves game. Think I might take a weather break for a couple of hours and see what happens, but take any additional snow as a bonus as still have a reasonable covering. COYW.

Just had the finest snow flurries, but nothing more than that.

Ahh! I'd settle for that right now to be honest though
