Radar stuck at 6:20am for me. It was turning lighter as it was hitting Sheffield, rather annoyingly. Plenty of precip hopefully to come though.

I am a good way SW of it so prob just get little if any here but loads more chances in coming weeks

a little more intensification, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a bit of thundersnow

still another 90 mins before sunrise, so a good chance for some to settle, - could be quite disruptive for some car journeys

Well, it looks like the precipitation is doing a weird dance, which means it'll be difficult to track, although it looks like coming almost due south shortly, before going more south east.

I'm fully expecting one of two scenarios......

1.   It misses us.

2. by the time it gets here, the dew points which are on -0.6'c , will have risen and we get rain (unless it's really heavy).

Yes, it looks good further out, but I cannot remember a time when we had a large LP overhead, which is stuck there, and we remain bone dry!!??   'large teapot' I suppose

Thats my worry C happiness, by the time it gets to us it’ll be just a wintry mix.

Has this precipitation got to pivot? The stuff over Somerset is moving south east so the pivot point has to be over the region somewhere. I’m going to stick my neck out and say somewhere around Wolverhampton. Whether it’s still snow by then??...

it’s just started to snow here
