Still 60/40 rain here, not too heavy either. Temp dropping slowly though.

Exactly! Wasn't planning to bother checking until I saw snow comments here! Nice big wet snow flakes a fantastic surprise. Shame the precip we had all day arrived during the night instead, but nevertheless a great start to winter.

Still alot of PPN about for us. Met app useless says its raining lol. Yh nearly missed it was just about to go to sleep and looked outside and it was hammering down with snow. I was looking forward to moaning about a snowless Winter lol.

Feel kind of sorry for probably most of the posters on here who are fast asleep not realising that there’s snow outside!

❄️ What's your elevation? The grass is white here but the tarmac still mostly slushy

I was only expecting a few flakes, let alone settling snow! A very wintry seen outside.

Absolutely belting it down by far the heaviest for snow for like 2 years. Very suprised as it looked the wrong side of marginal.

Just woke up. Rather surprised to see a light dusting of snow outside.

Been raining here too in the past hour. If I hadn’t been up for my early shift, I never would have known it had snowed.

Had more dandruff on my pillow that what fell here - nothing!, just shows how marginal these events are and can be, but, it is only December, so plenty of time left this winter.

So around 2cms fell between 12 and 4 then turned to rain and left a slushfest. Still nice to see and was very suprised. Already better than than last Winter lol. ❄❄❄

Good to see that some of you had some snow last night! It was close, but no cigar here in Northampton. We had rain and the temperature was 2.3 with a dew of 1.1 we were simply too low down though. 65m ASL is not going to cut it in a borderline event like that.
