Has the snow melted much in places that had some today?

Still a covering on roofs and grass

and our snowman is still 5 ft although leaning forward a bit

I’d say about 25% left

So this is the potential snow for tomorrow morning coming onshore pretty soon!! Fingers crossed it gains intensity as it pushes south as per ICON ⛄⛄⛄⛄️More widespread would be nice for everyone on here too

Still uncertainty in regards to tomorrows snow!!could be 30 miles east or 30 miles west!!!18z output by the way is cold lovers porn!!

It always is sadly, called the pub run for a reason; always worth taking with a pinch of salt! I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was more rain than snow tomorrow but time will tell! Other thing is; higher daytime maxima will mean a quicker thaw after any snowfall most likely. Although today’s was a fair bit lower than predicted!

Possibly  however  taking one model the arome   at face value temps don't rise above 0c all day    no melt there

I personally think we are heading for a memorable spell of weather!! Yes it’s nice to get the snow we had today and hopefully more this week but I think this may be forgotten about by the time we get to the main course

Quite right if it is around freezing all day then minimal thaw; any lying snow will suppress the temp so let’s see!

Got some very light snow falling in Belper. A lot of precipitation to the north heading this way. I hope it stays as snow and gives a covering.

Radar stuck at 6:20am for me. It was turning lighter as it was hitting Sheffield, rather annoyingly. Plenty of precip hopefully to come though.
