Yep lol. Recent few days been mediocre for thunderstorms, maybe today (Monday) could bring a thundery surprise. Love to have a thunderstorm that produces a strong microburst with 250mm per hour precipitation rate and large hail. Thunder that also lasts for more than an hour. Would be splendid!

We had a bit of lightning herein Walsall. Just a couple of bolts. Fair bit of thunder and torrential rain with hail.

Slightly annoying day today. About 80% of it was very pleasant: max 22.4 °C, plenty of sunshine, light winds. But in early afternoon there were a couple of fairly ferocious downpours. A good job I didn't trust last night's forecast of it being likely to remain dry all day, and go for a long walk in the country!

Tomorrow looks a bit of a pain (rain), then Thursday OK, then Friday a pain again (winds) then Saturday OK again. At least it won't be the same old same old every day!

That's what Stockton/Sacramento California is for! .

A gust of 59 mph today was the highest on record in August here, just beating the 58 mph recorded on the 10th last year.

Thankfully the rain stayed to the south this morning, so I was able to go out for breakfast and sit outside. Actually quite pleasant, and the sun is out now. Tomorrow does look a disaster area admittedly, but Wednesday seems reasonable at this point. After that... well, "unsettled" seems the order of the day for these parts. Not going to be one of the great hot Bank Holidays!

Well, the early morning wasn't bad here... but it's gone downhill quite seriously since. 13.2 °C as I type, gloomy skies and steady rain. If it weren't for the leaves on the trees this could easily be early November.

Not the worst bank holiday. Chilly enough, but pleasant in the sunshine.

Afternoon, a few places have hit 25c today even 26c for a few lucky ones,

Loving the extremes in some parts of the US....Denver was at 37c yesterday and today or within the next few hours it’ll be experiencing it’s earliest snowfall ever at just 1c and heavy snowfall...WOW to in just 24HRS

A beautiful day today in N Worcs. Considerably cooler than yesterday (max 19.2 °C) but less humidity and more sun, so it felt glorious out for a walk in the country at lunchtime.

Another very nice day today. 19 °C tops, but lots of sunshine, especially from lunchtime onwards. The air felt fresh but the sun still has decent warmth to it. Looking forward to the week ahead!

Lovely 26C and doesn't even feel that hot with the low humidity and weaker sun.

A truly wonderful September day. Some mist in the morning, so chilly for a while even once that had lifted, but a lovely afternoon with almost no clouds. 24.4 °C tops. Very, very nice weather!

Hit 27.1c yesterday and at 1pm today I’m at the same value so it looks like it’ll be warmer/hotter than yesterday....can’t be bad for mid September ☀️☀️☀️

In a months time it could be blowing a gale and cats and dogs ☔️.  so I’m enjoying this lovely weather in lockdown ☀️costadelsolihull☀️
