Thunder has been getting steadily louder and have now seen lightning to SW.

nice cell to the southeast there, I can here very distant rumbling from it, it's quite constant. Lots of activity developing. Looks like it's going to be a good evening for you guys in Cheshire and Lancashire.

Regular lightning now and thunder getting ever louder

Turning into another epic storm. Regular lightning, deep growls of thunder and now torrential rain

Not seen any forks, regular flickering so assume is elevated.

Nothing here again.  Why does the south and west of the region seem to be getting all the action this summer?

There's some mammatus clouds above .. the thunder is so near yet so far.. quite frustrating but some spectacular cloud formations

Another very hot day with lots of hazy sunshine. Reached about 29°C with about 60% humidity. Like being in the tropics.

check out the radar, look as it moves north.. as soon as it hits a line from west and north of Chester the showers instantly die out. I'm going to call this one a night, as I know im wasting my time with this one. Those who are currently experiencing stuff, enjoy, and I hope everyone gets something tonight.

Again,delighted for those west of the region.

Rubbish for East dwellers again though,very frustrating.

Pretty calm here at the moment, gone noticeably cooler though and plenty of cloud cover looks thunderous, probably just needs a spark

These storms just seem to be queuing up one behind another.

Very dark to my west towards the Northwich storm ⛈ can hear low rumbling thunder and the wind is picking up. No rain as yet though in Sandbach.

Oh Im chuffed for the guys out west, esp as they tend to struggle for snow in winter.Its just thunderstorms can be so amazing ,and I've missed them by like 20 miles...

Almost dark outside lights on thunder rumbling lightning flashing moderate rain what more do you need to say goodbye to such a fabulous spell of weather.

This is incredible, still going strong. Must have had at least 10 blasts of proper ground shaking shotgun thunder. Flashing every five seconds or so and constant thunder otherwise.
