I can see the lightning to the south/southwest of me.

I am knackered from staying up last night but tempted to stay up a bit longer.

Aye the northern tip of this active cluster creeping ever so slowly to the southern flank of the M60 ring road...might just get my first glimpse of a flash in the sky in the next hour or so...if I don't fall asleep first zzzz

If you can see South it has been visible for a while now. Like a strobe light

I can well imagine buddy. Last night I could see the show over Blackpool. Outstanding

About 2 hours of lightening every few seconds, most i've ever seen.

Now got shotgun thunder to accompany the strobe lightning. Absolutely amazing!

Got the feeling round here we're going to be too far east for these storms and that monster of a storm inbetween Stoke & Birmingham might die out by the time it gets up here. Probably last chance saloon tomorrow.
