Outlook seems not particularly warm but not particularly cold. And not particularly dry and not particularly wet. And not particularly sunny and not particularly overcast!

Don't mind a good old mix of weather, anythings better than persistent cool, cloudy and damp weather.

Well it's been a cool and cloudy day but at least it's a mild night. Currently 16° with 97% humidity. Barely any lower than the maximum daytime temperature. Should keep the house a bit warmer tonight.

We didn't do too bad today, a half decent one. Cloudy morning, the sun did break through this afternoon to give some lengthy sunny spells. A pleasant evening.

Wall to wall cloud here and cool for the time of year with a max of around 17°C. I don't mind though as it stayed dry throughout with light winds. I don't mind cloudy weather in summer too much as long as it's not that horrible fine drizzle or frontal rain. I would have preferred it to be a bit warmer though. It is July after all.

Went to the hairdressers today for the first time since February!

On the telly the weather for the north west came on, looks like a North/South split not just for the UK as a whole but also in the region. Rain forecast for Cumbria and Isle of Man tommorow, but the rest of the region forecast to stay mostly dry. The lowest temperatures will be where it's raining, stuck in the mid teens, whereas places like Manchester and Cheshire could reach 21°C. Burnley near where I live is forecast to reach 19°C. Should just miss out on the rain tommorow. Not too bad I suppose. London on the other hand could reach 26/27C on Saturday.

Looks a bit grim about the covid situation, Pendle and Blackburn with Darwen have seen a spike in cases.

It feels quite warm and humid here today. Mostly cloudy but with bright spells.

It looks damp for my drive to Wales tomorrow but decent from Sunday to midweek.

Quite clammy feeling day today, overcast and mostly dry, but a rogue shower popped through earlier.  BBC online not making much of rain tomorrow...mostly light in the morning... Meto Online has it sticking around for most of the day with heavier bursts now and again.

Another dull cloudy day here. Dank with drizzle before more persistent rain arrived late afternoon resulting in a very drab evening. Low cloud shredding everything. Not a summer Friday evening.

Yes, there's some improvement weatherwise next week, have a safe journey and have a great holiday.

Same here. Dry from lunchtime onwards with light cloud and a few brighter spells. It was also quite humid with dew points not much lower than the temperature. Reached 19.3°C late afternoon at Stonyhurst, not too bad considering what we've had so far. It was also a mild night last night with the temperature not dropping below 14°C.

So cloudy, mild and humid. Typical August weather really.

Thought it would be poor where you live what with the wind WSW and a humid mild tropical maritime type flow and the forecast rain for Cumbria. Never mind.

After tommorow it looks better with much more sunshine on offer and not much rain or dampness. Temperatures disappointing though, only 16-19°C, not brilliant for July.

I hope your right but this time last week, the forecast for the week just gone was very similar and we still ended up with pretty much continuous low cloud and a drizzlefest.

more annoying still is that we endured that while our southern based friends enjoyed something bordering on a heatwave.

anyway we’re not in control of it so I’m off over into West Yorkshire to fit decking this weekend and it’s looking like at least today’s session will be in the rain.

Gorgeous day here in South Cheshire and good to see so many people acting sensibly and enjoying themselves in Nantwich town centre and around the river and lake.

A big change after yesterday here in South Cheshire, with early glimpses of the sun replaced by cloud and light rain. It was forecast but not welcome nevertheless.

Rain getting heavier by the minute! Am I right in thinking that we're a divided region again today? Presumably if we are, we ought to head north to the Lake District for some sun and vitamin D today. Clearly painfully slow progress south by the front which is over us now

Yeah the warm air never really reached us. It seems like the sunnier skies stopped short of the south of the region, but at least it was warmer yesterday. We always seem to be on the borderline between the cool and warm air. It’s not been great in the south though either. Obviously better than here though.

The skies are forecast to clear during the evening (what a surprise) and it will be a cold night tonight with temperatures dropping into single digits. The next few days look to be mainly sunny with maybe just the odd scattered shower.  We will be within in the cooler air though so the temperatures will be pretty subdued for the time of year. But at least it should be sunny.

Not a great day with heavy drizzle throughout. Next few days look fine to me. Yes temps suppressed a bit but given we're still in July the strong sun will counter that & it'll feel pleasant enough.

Sky slowly beginning to clear from the north as the front moves southwards and the cooler air moves in, just in time for nightfall!

Lovely sky behind Pendle hill looking northwards. Just a shame the skies weren’t this clear during the day!

Horrible drive to the Llyn peninsula yesterday with rain and thick drizzle throughout. It cleared around 4pm and then there was some evening sunshine.

Lovely start today with clear blue skies and it looks like staying like that till midweek,

Hard to believe that people from London are moaning about the weather this summer, when this is what they are getting:

14-day weather forecast for London.

Looks perfect to me, warm, mostly sunny, low humidity. If only that was the forecast for us!

Still yet to reach 20°C here this month, and looking at the 14 day forecast from the BBC, it is looking increasingly likely that this July will fail to reach 20°C here. What a shocker!
