It's just north south and east of us in stevenage. About 25 miles away.Parts of Bucks looks look like they are about  to get something. Alot more behind.

It looks like it's left London from what I can see on the radar. If there's more in store then that's music to my ears

@Hirudine

I was excited to see those pictures because I thought there was a storm in Croydon and hence could reach it!  Then I saw your location...

Convergence zone looks to set up tomorrow N Midlands, N Wales and S parts of NW England. Will hopefully provide a trigger for more activity tomorrow afternoon.

That is one storm of the coast of Liverpool! First time I have ever seen max mm/h of rainfall and a massive hail core with it to!

Cracking storm just gone over us in Ainsdale, We are  S of Southport and N of Liverpool. Storm travelled more or less E to W, unusual direction here. We usually have  West winds most often,  sometimes Southern

Lightning looked like strobe at times, very frequent.

Is it going to be a 12 km miss for me today then? I can’t believe how much lightning that thing is kicking out. Still 30/minute. So close but not close enough.

That cell in the North West caught my eye interesting shape on radar almost that flying eagle shape, always hesitant to call a supercell in the UK but a big hail core too and possibly some rotation evident on one of the radar grabs I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. AAAE5CF5-666F-41FD-B66F-8DE7EF67B003.thumb.jpeg.443fb4b0662f7617dda077c1bc1661b6.jpeg68DF1E75-8EEC-4925-A27A-6391B3A39843.thumb.jpeg.9fc05b0f1948a1081b3eddb5aebb4520.jpeg672D1CB8-78A0-4499-8EF1-32807A238910.thumb.jpeg.490b2f9283862a2be0c6a4148bbd875d.jpeg

Got my eye on them sneaky little cells coming onto the Suffolk coast! God knows how they’ve kept going

Me too, skies are beginning to bruise here in Ipswich. Fingers crossed!

Make that one strike every second now. Surely that must be multiple cells

Still going. Still hearing 50–60 strikes per minute on the radio.
