Have replied to their tweet asking them for some Mesoscale Discussions for tomorrow ??

Agree they must be on pills. Very 'amateur' ish ? they don't seem to get much right these days, starting to believe the whole flight observations thing about less accurate data is actually true! The storm scenario tomorrow has flopped as far as EA is concerned, who knows maybe it'll flop back and the beeb know something we all don't ?!

What’s your reckoning on tomorrow night Zak? Models are all over the place and I don’t know whether I’m coming or going to be honest ?

Bored with a dash of Cabin fever crazy?

And possibly soon to be very wet, once that squall'ish' looking band of rain crosses the Bristol Channel ?

Excitement of earlier developments has pretty much diminished!!over to tonights potential!!!!heck a lot of cloud incoming from france right now acros southern england!!its what develops after that...

its not too bad, as i'm still working part time, but sea cadets is stopped, plus we are not running dinghy racing/training courses at the yacht club, but got things to occupy myself though.

Can I request that new users put their location in please. as it makes it easier to forecast and predict things.

Only a couple of models are showing this at the moment so I'm not going to say too much yet! But I think there should be a small window of opportunity for some storms to developed in central-southern England on Saturday evening/night. AROME is showing a decent amount of CAPE too.

I'm not seeing an 'event' on the models? Some scattered thundery showers possibly, but nothing I would call an event, sadly.

Depending on tonight, I would certainly be up for heading to the East coast. A big decision which way to head however. A47 into Norfolk, or the A16 up to Skegness or Grimsby (even beyond)? I am at the start of the two possible paths.

If nothing looks promising, then tomorrow could be a day for getting out instead! (I’d like to do both!!)

The band of rain seems to be barely moving NW, but more of a WNW direction.

Looking at the last few frames of the rain radar, will it even make it into Wales at this point or return back to a SW direction?

Hi gang ,i am eagerly awaiting just 10 mins of window rattling thunder , just had a hvy downpour ,looking good on radar but with gaps between the line of activity heading my way .hope you are all ok ,i am still isolating as vulnerable , but may venture out for a walk soon .Roll on late evening storms ,forked lightning, thunder bolts, soot down the chimney ,and being able to read a book with the amount of continuous lightning, and of course all this will be watched whilst eating sausage baps with brown sauce, think i need a lay down , best of luck gang with your storms  STellas all round .cheers .
